Vanguard Energy

was founded in early 2008 by a team of experienced oil and gas executives led by Neil Ritson. Vanguard has access to significant private equity fun­ding and aims to be an accomplished and highly respected operator of producing oil and gas assets within three years of its foundation.

Vanguard’s portfolio

will be created through asset and corporate acquisitions. Vanguard will exploit the skills of the founders and their extensive network of relationships to generate significantly above average sector rewards for its shareholders.  The portfolio will be focused initially in Europe and North Africa. Later expansion into a wider geographic spread and broader range of risk-reward characteristics is envisaged.
